UFC 300: Zhang Weili to defend strawweight title against Yan Xiaonan
China's Zhang Weili will defend her strawweight belt against compatriot Yan Xiaonan at UFC 300 in Las Vegas on 13 April.
The bout is the first all-Chinese title fight in UFC history.
Two-time champion Weili, 34, last fought in August in a dominant win over Amanda Lemos, while Xiaonan, 34, knocked out Jessica Andrade in May.
The contest is also the first championship bout confirmed for the landmark UFC 300 event.
After announcing the fight on Instagram, UFC president Dana White said "at least two or more" title bouts will be confirmed on Thursday.
In December during a half-time presentation at Aston Villa's Villa Park, Britain's welterweight champion Leon Edwards said he is set to defend his title at UFC 300 following his win over Colby Covington last month at UFC 296.
Other fights confirmed for the flagship event at the T-Mobile Arena include a lightweight title eliminator between Brazil's Charles Oliveira and Armenian-Russian Arman Tsarukyan, and a light-heavyweight contest between former Czech champion Jiri Prochazka and Austria's Aleksandar Rakic.
Ex-bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling is making his UFC featherweight debut against fellow American Calvin Kattar, while undefeated middleweight Bo Nickal takes on Cody Brundage in another all-American fight.
