Art Bell founded KNYE 95.1 FM, a Pahrump-based radio station with a broadcasting studio and transmitter near his house in Nye County, Nevada. His show ‘Coast to Coast AM,’ which he created in his studio, became one of the most popular radio shows in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was broadcast on over 500 stations and over 15 million people tuned in to hear it.
