On October 5, 1966, Terri Lynne Boatright Runnels was born in the United States. She is a former professional wrestler, manager, and television host. Runnels made her professional wrestling debut in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as Miss Alexandra York, manager of The York Foundation.

She then joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), subsequently known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where she spent eight years performing under both her real name and Marlena (her most well-known gimmick).

At the beginning of her tenure in the WWF, she managed Dustin Runnels, who was then known on-screen as Goldust, and she was a member of the Pretty Mean Sisters alliance. After the Terri Invitational Tournament in 1999, she also worked as Edge & Christian and Hardy Boyz’s manager.
